On August 29, 2026, United After Ashes Foundation founder and president Vicky Gardner traveled from Washington, D.C. to New Castle, Delaware to support another grieving mother at the inaugural event presented by Crosses Feathers Foundation. The day reflected a simple part of the Foundation's mission: showing up, connecting, and making room for joy alongside loss.
