A mother and son together in a warm, welcoming home setting, reflecting love, family, and legacy.
United After Ashes Foundation

For the life you had.And the life you're still learning to live.

You do not have to arrive with the right words. Come as you are. There is room here for grief, love, rebuilding, remembrance, and what comes next.

A note from the founder

I didn't create United After Ashes because I had all the answers.

I created it because I know what it feels like when life divides itself into a before and an after.

Loss changed me. It changed the way I understood time, purpose, family, and even what it meant to keep going. What I eventually learned is that moving forward does not require leaving love behind.

United After Ashes grew from that truth. This is a place for people whose lives have been altered by loss or hardship, and who are learning how to carry what happened while still creating something meaningful from here.

A mother's loss opened the doorway. Everybody's loss is welcome through it.

Begin the journey

Your next step should match why you came.

There is no single doorway into United After Ashes. Choose the direction that feels most useful today.

Paths to healing

Choose the door that feels right for today.

Rebuilding is personal. You do not have to move through every path at once, and you do not have to know exactly what you need before you begin.

Healing & Support

Be seen before you are asked to be strong.

Connection, community support, remembrance, resources, and room to breathe. No performance. No pressure to “move on.”

This may fit if you are trying to find your footing after something changed.

Purpose & Growth

Life can hold love and possibility at the same time.

Rebuilding can mean rediscovering your voice, your confidence, your direction, or simply one next step that feels like your own.

Growth does not ask you to forget what mattered.

This may fit if you are ready to explore confidence, direction, purpose, or a next step.

Family & Community

Healing does not have to happen alone.

We create space for stronger relationships, community participation, shared learning, and the kind of connection that makes a hard road feel less solitary.

This may fit if you are looking for connection, participation, or a place to belong.

There is no single way forward
There is simply a place to begin.

We do not want you to feel like you are choosing from a catalog of services. These are doors you can enter when they feel right.

You do not have to explain why life feels different now.

Some losses alter the shape of a family, a future, a routine, a dream, or the person you thought you would be. You are welcome here without a timetable.

We honor what was lost without asking you to remain inside the loss.

The Living Legacy Forest

A remembrance that keeps growing.

Imagine a place where remembrance takes root in the earth. A life is honored. A tree grows. Habitat expands. Pollinators return. And memory becomes part of something still alive.

Plant a tree.
Honor a life.
Support pollinators. Grow a legacy.

Living Legacy is envisioned as a future program where individuals and families may choose to plant trees in honor and remembrance of loved ones while supporting environmental stewardship and new life.

This may fit if you want to honor someone in a way that continues to grow.

Community in motion

Some healing happens while our hands are busy.

Future Friday Community Work Sessions are envisioned as recurring opportunities to serve, plant, build, organize, learn, and connect. Sometimes connection happens more naturally when people are doing something meaningful together.

This may fit if you want to serve beside others while building real connection.

Impact, with integrity

We are building this with intention.

Our mission is to strengthen individuals, families, and communities affected by loss, hardship, or destabilizing life events through accessible education, community support, resource navigation, personal development, family strengthening, and pathways toward long-term social and economic stability.

We will measure what matters, report what is true, and learn what can improve as the Foundation grows.
